The route begins next to the Alicún Baths, a special place of carbonated thermal waters, near the Aqueduct of Toril.  It is a strange formation half natural, half man-made located in Villanueva de las Torres next to the Balneario de Alicún de las Torres; it is a limestone wall formed over time by precipitation and sedimentation of salts in the water that circulates strongly through these places. What was once a what was once a simple ditch at ground level, which was probably used to carry water to the Paleolithic settlement settlement, today has in its different routes heights that exceed fifteen meters in a length of more than a kilometer and a half.
