In the center of the Geopark of Granada, in Gorafe you have the opportunity to spend the night in a traditional cave house or if you prefer in a hotel.

The cave houses are dwellings of traditional use and bioclimatic, with cool temperatures in summer and warm in winter as they stay between 18 and 20 degrees. Only regularly registered cave houses are available on our list, the only ones that guarantee the comfort and health requirements necessary for tourist accommodation.

In the village there are 4 restaurants with excellent home cooking, one of which with an authentic flamenco show (on Saturday night), an ATM, a supermarket and a pharmacy.

The cave houses are ordered according to whether they accept (or not) pets.

Cueva Navarro is located in Gorafe, with a beautiful view of the mountains.

Bioclimatic house, dug in clay and traditionally restored. Exposed to the south, it maintains a year-round temperature of 19 to 22 degrees. The Algarves de Gorafe caves are bioclimatic houses carved in clay, traditionally restored and facing south, maintained throughout the year at a temperature of 19-22 degrees Celsius. Accommodation in a troglodyte area, located in Gorafe, a small village of less than 600 inhabitants, located in the region of Guadix and Marquesado, northeast of Granada (100 km). The region is known for its rich archaeological and historical heritage, with one of the largest concentrations of "dolmens" in Europe, more than 250 scattered in the 11 necropolises that make up the Megalithic Park of Gorafe.
