Prices for 4X4 tours and trekking include the corresponding VAT. The number of places is limited. The approximate duration of the 4X4 routes is indicated in our advertising and on our website.
The vehicle for the established routes will normally be a 4x4 vehicle, with 7 seats including the driver. Except for special exceptions (people with disabilities, back pain, motion sickness, etc.), the arrangement of people inside will aim to be the most practical and comfortable. Prices are indicated on our website www.geoparkgranada.com.
Geopark Granada will try, if a private route is not specifically requested by the client, to include other clients who coincide in the choice of itinerary and duration of the excursion to fill free places. If the client has not expressly requested a private visit, the total cost of the route will be divided equally among all participants.
The GUIDE will direct the development of the excursion, and stops will be made within the chosen itinerary and as described in the company's advertising. The GUIDE is the only one who, due to track conditions or force majeure, may choose to modify the route at any time for the safety of passengers and vehicles. In this case, the modification of part of the route will not give rise to any compensation. If the guide is forced to interrupt the route due to force majeure, proportional compensation will be paid minus the cost of insurance (€10 per person).
Adverse weather conditions (rain, fog, snow,...) may be cause for cancellation, as they make it impossible or interfere with the routes, in addition to being in some cases a risk to the physical integrity of the participants. In this case of force majeure, the refund of what was paid will be total, including insurance costs.
Reservations made by email or other forms (WhatsApp) will only be formalized upon receiving confirmation from the company and subject to advance payment by bank transfer to the IBAN provided at the time of pre-reservation. The contractor of any of the services described in this contract accepts the specific conditions described herein, which are available at departure points and on the company website.
In the case of cancellation of the route reservation by the CLIENT: Total refund of the advance will only be possible due to rain, safety problems, or Covid-19 health confinement. In all other cases (client's impossibility for any personal reasons), cancellation (sent by email or WhatsApp to (+34) 608 17 37 06) provides for different refund modalities:
The 4x4 route company supports the "Quaternary Geopark: Northern Valleys of Granada" project by providing our clients, in addition to classic routes, with new itineraries specifically planned to discover not only geological diversity, but at the same time visit other points of paleontological, archaeological, naturalistic, and scenic interest. These routes, planned with precision and continuously updated, aim to present a "friendly" and not too technical knowledge of the geological and historical diversity and the crossroads of ancient cultures of the "Hoya de Guadix-Baza".
During the itineraries, there are stops and short easy walks suitable for everyone that allow for better immersion in the surroundings. Also on some of the routes, if opening hours permit, we offer the opportunity to visit one or more points of public interest such as necropolises, Neolithic and Bronze settlements, and interpretation centers.
For the safety of participants and not to ruin the tracks, the routes are conditioned by the weather and cannot be carried out in bad weather conditions. In the design of each route, we have paid special attention to including unique aspects of the park with stops at points of geological, paleontological, and archaeological interest. The program for each route is extensive, but we are sure to satisfy you.
